NYC photographed locations include: Midtown and Lower Manhattan – Central Park, Midtown, The High Line, Chelsea, Gramercy, Greenwich Village (Soho/Noho), Battery Park, Financial District, Little Italy, and Brooklyn Bridge Park. We’ll be back soon for the other three boroughs; Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx.

For Sweet Jane, Diamond Jackie and Billy, Mrs. Robinson, and of course Brend-der and Eddie…..all those countless “only living boys and girls in New York City”……real and fictional stories (songs) from Lou, Bruce, Paul and Art, Dylan, Joey, John, Jimi, Iggy, New York Dolls, Charlie, Madonna and all those artists who’ve been inspired by the ‘City that Never Sleeps’…….thanks!

Special thanks to my new friend, Bobby Pinn, who made many of those songs come alive walking the streets on a hot summer Saturday morning in the Village and through Alphabet City. We’ll be back for the West Village tour soon.

PS – We made it to Manitoba’s for some beers, met Kelly and talked about the Dictators. Ohhh if those walls could talk…..

Billy, he's down by the railroad tracks
Sittin' low in the back seat of his Cadillac
Diamond Jackie, she's so intact
She falls so softly beneath him
Jackie's heels are stacked, Billy's got cleats on his boots
Together they're gonna boogaloo down Broadway and come back home with the loot
It's midnight in Manhattan, this is no time to get cute
It's a mad dog's promenade
So walk tall, or baby, don't walk at all
