NYC – Staten Island and Manhattan 2023King (and Queen) of Staten Island - “Forgotten Borough.”Another great weekend spent exploring NYC with my favorite daughter! Can’t believe it was 2014 when me you and mom spent our first fam weekend in Manhattan enjoying Broadway shows: Motown & Of Mice and Men. This time we cross off the final 5th Borough - Staten Island. (Day #1) Doing what we do best; exploring history, art, photography, cool local restaurants, bars, experiences, of course enjoying pizza and ice cream! Few film locations from - King of Staten Island. Judd Apatow/Pete Davidson 2020 movie. #liveyourdashDad & Daughter NYC Day #1 (Staten Island)Friday 9/22/23Under Our Umbrellas....Umbrellas…..Rainy day in Manhattan couldn't spoil our Dad & Daughter fun......Highlights included no sunrise ride on "the Boat", "Breakfast with the Seinfeld" crew, NASA inspired trippy art exhibit at Artechouse, exploring/eating in Chelsea Market, walking in the rain on our very own "Little Island", golfing and drinking with "Swingers", in the clouds Summit Experience at One Vanderbilt, fabulous dinner in Central Park at iconic Tavern on the Green (didn't run into Red Hot Chili Peppers though), followed by evening speakeasy Pub Crawl: UES Ice Cream (Excuse me. "We are volunteers for the Storage Room"), secret subway passageway at La Noxe (enjoyed "Midnite Cruiser" shots with the staff!) as well as an early "Halloween" celebration at Oscar Wilde's. Our 'Ferry Beers' will have to wait for next visit. 18 hours in the city that never sleeps and sometimes rains! #liveyourdashDad & DaughterNYC Day #2 (Manhattan)Saturday 9/23/23“Not hardcore....unless you live hardcore."Dewey Finn (School of Rock) Back to Staten Island to close out our NYC weekend.
