YOLO in COLO
It started with Scott purchasing Jimmy Buffett tickets, Father’s Day 2020 for his Red Rocks performance, September 2021. A Scott & Marie Bucket List travel/concert experience – for sure! It was the peak of COVID. Buffett’s 2020 show was canceled/rescheduled for 2021. We now needed to plan a vacation. We booked a condo at Winter Park, Colorado through our RCI timeshare company. What would we do? We hiked multiple days/trails near Winter Park, traveled east to the Front Range; explored/hiked Rocky Mountain National Park, dined at the Stanely Hotel (think: The Shining (movie)), explored Estes Park, explored Boulder (we hiked and Scott mountain biked – first time!) And of course, Jimmy Buffett at Red Rocks! Full-on experience: hiked near Red Rocks, toured the Red Rocks Music Museum, bought a picnic dinner down the road at Morrison Colorado and tailgated before the show.
