Grand Cayman – 2025
Enjoyed Eco Bike Tour (West Bay/Seven Mile Beach) area (~ 15 miles) and explored 7 Mile Beach last two days. Thanks for the memories Grand Cayman. #liveyourdash
Beautiful cloudy sunrise. Toured multiple art galleries looking for that perfect piece to bring back home to Jersey to remember the trip by. Ventured back to Rum Point on Wednesday evening for sunset dinner at Rum Point Beach Club. Followed by unique evening kayaking experience at Bioluminescence Bay. By stirring the water, one witnesses millions of tiny microorganisms called ‘Pyrodinium Bahamanse’ that light up the water creating a mesmerizing display of nature. In addition, overhead we viewed 4 of the 6 planets visible to the naked eye: Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn currently in alignment in the earth’s atmosphere. We also viewed the ‘false’ Southern Cross and The Pleiades which is a star cluster in the Taurus constellation. It's one of the closest star clusters to Earth and is visible without a telescope. The Pleiades is also known as the Seven Sisters in Greek mythology. #liveyourdash
Morning solo cycle trek along the East End. Followed by once-in-a-lifetime snorkel and swim with the Stingrays experience. Day concluded with sunset beach dinner at Kaibo Beach, Rum Point. Tuesday’s Gone with the wind…..
Come Monday…..it will be alright. Explored East End including iconic Blow Holes, Lovers Wall, Queen Elizabeth Botanical Gardens, Wreck of Ten Sails Memorial, lunch at Over the Edge Cafe, North Side. #liveyourdash
Settling into the island life. Sunset beach walk. Mastic Trail island hike. Beach bar lunch. Sure beats the snow and single digit freezing temperatures back home in the Delaware Valley. Grateful for our winter getaway. #liveyourdash
Exploring Grand Cayman, The East End. Beach walks, Karaoke at Mimi’s Dock, high end dinner at David’s. Great first day/beach day/travel transition day. #liveyourdash
