Amazing 12-day (6-day) cycling adventure through Netherlands > Belgium.
Pre tour – Spent 2 days in Amstedam, Netherlands.
Day #1 – Edam > Twiske, Zaanse Schans. Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg country house/lodge (1895) located on the edge of Zuid-Kennemerland National Park.
Day #2 – Sea & Dunes (Kennemerland National Park) > Keukenhof Gardens. Lodging at Hotel des Indes, The Hague.
Day #3 – Kinderdijk > Gouda, Green Heart. Celebrated King’s Night with the locals! Hotel des Indes.
Day #4 – Sluis > Bruges. Lodging at Hotel de Tuilerieen where actors Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes sated during the filming of In Bruges (movie). Canal ride through Bruges.
Day #5 – Belgian Countryside route (Diksmuide lunch site, near WW1 battlefields known as “Flanders Fields”. Beer tasting and horse and carriage ride through Bruges. Hotel de Tuilerieen.
Day #6 – Last pedal through Bruges; neighborhoods, canals, forests and grassy meadows.
Post tour – Spent 2 days in Brussels, Belgium.
